Quick Review: Car Insurance.com

Apparently GEICO, a large US insurer, is quite concerned at the number of young American drivers being involved in accidents with large trucks on the highway. No doubt trying to reduce the number of payouts they have to make, they have asked the American Moving and Storage Association to come up with some guidance notes. The guidance includes such common sense gems as:
  • Stay out of a truck's blind spots
  • Be careful when attempting to pass a truck
  • Do not cut off a large truck or passenger bus
As if any of this really needed saying? Still, producing this useful advice is keeping someone in a job. If you manage to avoid having a crash with a truck you might be able to get yourself a cheap car insurance quote in the future.
